GRIEVANCE REDRESS PROCEDURE

Grievance redress committee has been established to hear complaints, if any, from the project affected persons and to facilitate resolution. The Grievance redress committee is headed by DC, Dharwad district with representation from governmental and non- governmental organizations .

The main objective of the Grievance redress committee would be to review the grievances of the project affected persons, and the actions taken by the Hubli- Dharwad BRTS Company Ltd. to resolve the same.

The Grievance redress committee shall meet once in a month during implementation of Resettlement Action Plan and suggest corrective measures to be taken to resolve any issues faced by the project- affected persons. The process of redress of grievances shall be as follows:

The Manager (RR & HR) in the office of Hubli- Dharwad BRTS Company Ltd., shall receive grievances, if any and shall register the same. A unique number shall be given to each grievance. ESDC which is constituted in Hubli- Dharwad BRTS Company Ltd., shall review the grievances and take necessary action to resolve the same.

The status of redress of grievances shall be put up by Manager (RR & HR) before the Grievance redress committee for perusal, review and for further directions, if any.
